NetLibrary Directions

The UNO netLibrary collection includes over 40,000 electronic books purchased by the library for all academic disciplines. These books can be searched as a collection or accessed as individual titles through ILINK, the libray's online catalog.

Netlibrary books are viewed online using a browser-based online reader. Install the Adobe Reader or the DjVu plugin to access all titles. The free Adobe Reader can be downloaded from the Adobe site and the free DjVu plugin can be downloaded from the djvu.org website.

Setting up a User Account

  • Having a user account will allow you to bookmark the titles of interest to you and will allow you to "highlight" and annotate the text that you read.
  • Click on Create an Account here or from within netLibrary and follow the instructions for establishing a personal user account. Letters, numbers, spaces and standard puncutation are allowed. Usernames are not case-sensitive, but every name in the netLibrary system must be unique.
Logging In to Your User Account
  • Click the Log In button on the netLibrary main navigation bar or on the bottom of the page to access your user account.
  • Enter your user name and password and click Submit.
