- Partially funding online databases and subscriptions
- Partially funding the cost of journal subscriptions
- Contributing to the cost of binding periodicals and other paperbound resources
- Purchasing preservation supplies
- Framing photographs to display in lobbies and other public areas
- Enhancing signage
