Citing Sources: APA & MLA Styles

In this guide we have included examples of citations that are most commonly used by students at UNO. This is NOT intended to be a comprehensive guide to citing sources. There are several different citation styles to choose from, with APA and MLA being the most common. The style you should use is usually determined by the discipline in which you are working. Ask your instructor what style s/he recommends. For examples of how to do in-text citations consult the sources below.
