Accessing tables of contents online for various engineering journals is a relatively easy process. Knowing the publisher for the journal is often all that is required to find the table of contents for a journal. It is simply a matter of going to that publishers site and locating the journal title. However, often tables of contents can just as easily be located using a simple search engine like Google and placing "quotes" around the title of the journal. For instance, use Google and search for the "Journal of Irrigation and Drainage Engineering". To check what the google search should look like <click> here. The very first entry in the search results list should be the ASCE site (www.pubs.asce.org) where the contents of the online issues can be browsed. However, the same result could achieved by merely going to the publishers website, which is linked below. A Select List of Common Engineering Journal Publishers Elsevier Provides current journal table of contents. Springer-Verlag Provides some journal table of contents ASCE Publications Provides access to bibliographic database of ASCE publications and current journal table of contents. IEEE Access to some tables of contents are available thought this page. IEEE Computer Society Online catalog for books, conference proceedings, periodicals, standards and research transactions. |
