Patent and Trademark Information in the Library

Web databases are useful for preliminary searches; however, complete searches require a visit to the US Patent and Trademark Offices or a Patent and Trademark Depository Library (PTDL). The closest available PDTL is the LSU Middleton Library in Baton Rouge, LA. The advice of a patent attorney is always strongly recommended.
