The UNO Library is a selective federal documents depository receiving approximately 94% of the material the U.S. Government Printing Office makes available. Federal documents can now be located by using the library's online catalog available through the Library Website (http://library.uno.edu)

The Library receives most of the documents from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, National Science Foundation, Department of Energy, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Department of the Interior, including the Minerals Management Service, Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Defense, Transportation Department, and other federal agencies.
