• Academic Search Premier
  Years: 1975-present
  Coverage: The world’s largest academic multi-disciplinary database,
  Academic Search Premier provides full text for more than 4,000
  scholarly publications, including full text for more than 3,100
  peer-reviewed journals. Coverage spans virtually every area of
  academic study and offers information dating as far back as 1975. In
  addition to the full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts
  for all 8,052 journals in the collection. This database is updated on
  a daily basis.
  
  

• Alternative Press Index
  Years: 1991-present
  Coverage: Indexes journals covering cultural, economic, political &
  social change. Guide to alternative sources of information. Provides
  in-depth coverage in the humanities and social sciences. Indexes
  nearly 300 alternative, radical and left periodicals, newspapers and
  magazines. Includes selected abstracts from research journals.

• Alternative Press Index Archive
  Years: 1969-1990
  Coverage: Index of journals covering cultural, economic, political &
  social change. Guide to alternative sources of information published
  from 1969-1990. Indexes alternative, radical and left periodicals,
  newspapers and magazines. Provides alternative viewpoints on
  internationally significant subjects.

• Contemporary Women's Issues
  Years: 1992-present
  Coverage: Provides full-text access to global information on women in
  over 150 countries. Indexes books, journals, newsletters, research
  reports from non-profit groups, government and international agencies,
  and fact sheets.

• Ingenta
  Years: 1988-present.
  Coverage: Database of current article information taken from well over
  26,000 multidisciplinary journals. Covers over 5,400 full-text online
  publications. UNO Library has full-text access to those titles it subscribes to in print.

• JSTOR
  Years: Varies by journal. Usually does not include last 3-5 years of
  journal articles.
  Coverage: Full-text archive of selected core scholarly journals.

• Social Science Citation Index in Web of Science
  Years: 1975-present
  Coverage: The online version of Social Science Citation Index; includes indexing of more than
  1700 scholarly journals in the Social Sciences. There is no remote access without a UNO PPP
  account.

• Sociological Abstracts
  Years: 1974-present
  Coverage: indexes and provides abstracts of the literature of
  sociology and the related social sciences from 2300 journals
  worldwide.
