Application for Library Carrel

Please read Policy on Library Carrels before applying for a library carrel.

Carrels are available for current faculty, retired faculty, graduate students working on their dissertations, and visiting scholars simply by filling out this application. Any other graduate students must be working on research projects and their status will be verified by their advisor before being assigned a carrel. 

Upon receipt of this application, your status will be verified in our records and you will be notified if any further information is needed. When a carrel is ready for you, we will send you an email to that effect, and you'll be able to pay the $10 fee and pick up the key at our Public Services Desk on the first floor of the library.

Carrel assignments may be carried over from semester to semester on reapplication two weeks prior to the end of the semester. You may reapply by resubmitting this application or by filling out an application form at the Circulation desk. If you have any questions, please contact the Public Services Desk.
