Reserves

The UNO Library offers its faculty and students two types of access to required readings for their classes. Traditional course reserves offers students physical copies of books or audio/visual materials for use in the library during regular business hours. Electronic reserves (MSWord | PDF) offers readings to students through the course's Blackboard web site twenty-four hours a day. All items to be placed on reserve must be accompanied by a separate request form including the correct citation. Any forms submitted with incorrect or illegible citations will be returned to the requesting faculty member. Items, as always, are processed as quickly as possible.

It is the responsibility of the instructor to obtain any necessary copyright permission for the work to be placed on reserve. The signature of the faculty member on the request form signifies acceptance of this policy. Before placing any item on reserves, please read the Reserve Policy and General Copyright Guidelines that govern all requests.

If you have books, CDs, DVDs, videocassettes, or copies of articles for electronic reserves that you wish to bring into the library, please fill out our Submission Form (MSWord | PDF) and bring the form and items to the Public Services Desk on the first floor of the library.

Please direct any questions or inquiries about Reserves to Sherry Vicknair by phone (280-7211) or email (svicknai@uno.edu)
